All four configurations use a φ3mm smooth shank for collet clamping. This is the shank type used by VHF milling machines. It is not a threaded shank.

Are these burs compatible with Sirona CEREC MC, MC X, or MC XL?

No. Sirona CEREC MC, MC X, and MC XL use a proprietary M3.5 threaded shank, not a φ3mm smooth shank. These SINCEN burs are for VHF machines only.

Which head diameter should I choose for fine details like occlusal anatomy or margin lines?

The 0.6mm head diameter is the smallest in this series and is suited for fine detail work such as occlusal fissures, tight interproximal areas, and margin refinement. The 1.0mm and 1.2mm diameters provide a balance between detail and material removal rate.

How do I know when to replace the bur?

Watch for visible loss of diamond coating on the cutting surfaces, increased milling time for the same restoration type, rougher surface finish on the milled ceramic, or chipping along the restoration margin. These are signs the bur should be replaced.

Can these burs be used for dry milling zirconia?

No. These burs are designed for wet milling of glass ceramics. Dry milling zirconia requires different tool geometry and coating. Using these burs for dry milling or for zirconia will damage the tool and the workpiece.
