The Cylinder Pointed Bur is suited for finishing and fine detailing of smaller restorations such as inlays, onlays, and veneers. The Step Bur 10 and Step Bur 12, with longer cutting lengths, are better suited for roughing and shaping of larger restorations including single crowns and anterior bridges.
These burs are not for milling metals, composites, or dry milling applications.
These burs use an M1.8 threaded shank that screws directly into the spindle of the Sirona CEREC 3 or InLab Compact. They are not smooth collet-clamped shanks.
They are compatible with the Sirona CEREC 3 and InLab Compact milling machines. They are not designed for CEREC MC, MC X, or MC XL, which use a different M3.5 threaded shank.
