The φ0.6 and φ1.0 head diameters are suited to finishing and fine detail work such as occlusal anatomy, margins, and tight interproximal areas. The φ2.0 and φ2.5 head diameters are suited to roughing and bulk material removal in larger restorations.

These burs are not for milling metals, zirconia, composites, or for dry milling applications; they are specified only for wet milling of the listed glass ceramic materials on Elosdent-compatible φ6mm collet-clamped spindles.

What shank type do these burs use?

All four configurations use a φ6mm smooth shank that is collet-clamped. They do not use a threaded shank.

Are these burs compatible with Sirona CEREC MC, MC X, or MC XL machines?

No. Sirona CEREC MC, MC X, and MC XL use a proprietary M3.5 threaded shank, and CEREC 3 uses M1.8. These SINCEN burs have a φ6mm smooth shank for Elosdent-compatible systems and are not interchangeable with threaded-shank CEREC spindles.

Which materials can these burs mill?
